Co-design New Sales Experience Wireframes

Introduction: Before I joined the team, in April, digital design team had a design sprint to proposed a full new design for sales experience. Then, they decided to design tailored customer journey by using brand new UI kit. I’m so lucky to join this project since I know it is a rare opportunity to learn the whole redesign process.

Solution: The new sales experience is starting with product intent, we are going to capture the customer’s interest in products.

Then, we would like to share relevant upsells and the flexibility of adding and removing products with a shopping cart as we get the appropriate information from the customer. Our goal is to help customers take a quote online and add GEICO products to their shopping cart easily, just like you shop in the Amazon. 

Last, customers will be able to use modern payment methods (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.) that customers expect and help onboard them into the GEICO Mobile app.

Redesign Home Sweet Reward Pilot Page

Introduction

  • GEICO.com is partnering with Berkshire Hathaway for an affiliate program (Home Sweet Rewards)

Request

  • Consider GDK components such as accordions or the view more/less component that would reduce the amount of copy after the call to action (CTA) button

Unmoderated Testing

  • 5-second tests
  • Task-based tests

Findings

  • Users were confused about the current context that was presented to explain the Home Sweet Rewards program.
  • Further changes will be made to the context (Designs 1 & 2) above “Even More Ways to Save with Home Sweet Rewards”
  • Design 2 might be tweaked to improve the text on the hero image.
